Licensing of PeN-LAB solutions allows the user a choice of optimal solution and brings savings through the choice of models, products and license elements.

Single license for packages covers using of the PeN-LAB system in one logging unit, on one location, without workstation or user limitations. Single license for standalone applications covers usage on single machine.

Buying licenses

• Functional units are mandatory part of PeN-LAB license.
• Optional units depend on your choice; they offer you some additional possibilities or additional way of saving your investment in PeN-LAB system. Optional units are not mandatory part of PeN-LAB license.
• Service units define additional development and consultant work before buying, during and after implementation of the system.

Total sum is the sum of prices of all units. For every functional unit (product or software package), individual license is issued. For other units, contract is made which determines length of duration, extend and type of work/services, price, discounts and the way of payment.

Renting licenses

• Functional units are mandatory part of PeN-LAB license in renting model.
• Optional unit OP_1.0 - monthly compensation for post-implementation help is mandatory part of PeN-LAB license in renting model.
• Service units define additional development and consultant work before renting and during rental period of the system.

During rental, monthly payment is applicable. Pricing for rental depends on rental period and number of licenses.

FUNCTIONAL UNITS

• Functional units are organized as software packages or standalone applications (products), that consist of one or more software modules. Functional units are mandatory part of PeN-LAB license.

OPTIONAL UNITS

• Optional unit OP_1.0 - yearly compensation for post-implementation help. It ensures free help in use on Internet (private web pages) or by e-mail, phone or fax. Additional benefit are completely free new versions of functional units that you possess. Contract is made during the purchase of this unit.
• Optional unit OP_2.0 - yearly compensation for post-implementation help. It ensures free help in use on Internet (private web pages), or by e-mail, phone or fax. Additional benefits are completely free new versions of functional units that you possess and buying of additional licenses with great discounts. Contract is made during the purchase of this unit.

NOTE: Contract is tied to the single product type, meaning that there is a separate contract for each product type.

SERVICE UNITS

• Service unit SE_1.0 - advices, help and suggestions while making the decision of system purchase. Help is ensured by e-mail, phone or fax. Price of this service is determined by currently valid price list.
• Service unit SE_2.0 - user's training for personnel which will work with bought functional units. Training is made in our premises. The price of this service and the duration are determined by currently valid price list.
• Service unit SE_3.0 - additional training for personnel who need to have specific knowledge of certain area. Training is made in our premises. The price of this service is determined by currently valid price list while duration is determined by agreement. Minimal training duration is 8 hours.
• Service unit SE_4.0 - activities of additional development according to your demand. Condition for additional development is active optional unit OP_2.0. The price of this service is determined with contract, individually for each demand.
